Friday Development Updates: Part 3

Howdy, DeRacers!🤠

A week has passed already since our last installment in Friday Development Updates’ series and now it’s time for a new update again!

So what has our development team been up to this week?

Our game design team has made even more visual horse feature variations — manes, tails, colors, etc. They have also hooked up our Unity-based horse generator to create unique-looking horse images. Our game design team has also prepared a horse viewer that allows users to inspect the horses in 3D! We are sharing a sneak-peak of the automated generation of one-of-a-kind in-game DeRace NFT horses here👇 (NOTE: The video is just a sneak-peak, meaning that the parameter combinations are limited here which are less than 2% of all possible combinations)

Isn’t this exciting? Later on, we will also share a working link to 3D viewer with you, DeRacers, so that our community could explore the possibilities of DeRace NFT horses’ looks 🤫

Our game development team has finished setting up a separate server instance that will be used to generate horse images based on their appearance. They have finalised the appearance schema to match our vision of how the horses should look like. Our game development team is currently applying final touches to the system architecture that will allow us to easily scale the system when needed.

So that is all for this week’s Friday Development Updates!

Stay tuned for more.
