The launch day of the much-anticipated horse breeding feature is getting closer and closer! Currently we are ironing the very last details of the horse breeding function by adding a ‘sprinkle’ of UI touch-ups here and there, perfecting the breeding flow and view.

💕 Lone stallion looking for a mare
The rent-for-breeding service is the best way to breed the ultimate DeRace champion! You can choose the very top horses to breed with and carry these genes to your stables.
The rent-for-breeding option is already finalized and will be launched together with the classical horse breeding feature. To find a mate for your horse, you will be able to easily filter through all the available horses in the NFT horse explorer page. Just a few clicks on the selected horses and you’re good to go!
It’s an amazing opportunity for any NFT horse owner to make some extra $DERC by safely and efficiently renting out their horses for breeding to other players.
Make sure to note down the champion horses on the DeRace NFT horse explorer in advance, because once the breeding kicks in they might be in high demand! So why not make some early “breeding” alliances with other stable owners?

Forging a place for the upcoming in-game NFTs
Many new in-game NFTs are to come in the first half of this year: from the Breeding Potion and performance boosting assets to hippodromes and jockey NFTs.
To make them fit well with DeRace NFT horses, our lovely front-end developer Katerina has already started working on the UI part.
This week our front end developers are focused on UX flow for upcoming in-game NFTs. The hippodrome bookmaker’s control panel is being created with the new race generation options, the race statistics and a few other cool surprises which we will keep as secret for a little while.
The horse viewer gets a major upgrade: wearable NFT’s will be easily accessible and you will be able to equip your champion horse with a few clicks.
🏁 Hippodromes, hippodromes, hippodromes…
The tropical hippodrome is done and ready to launch! Get ready to test your NFT horses on the synthetic race track: many new champion horses are expected to rise to their rightful place on the podium.
We are also already working on our third hippodrome with the turf surface! It will have a very distinctive look compared to the previous hippodromes: we are focusing on the 3D modeling of new buildings and looking for new ways to make it feel different than the others.
We are so excited about this hippodrome as it is inspired by one of the most gorgeous RL race tracks in South East Asia.
