Another week has come to an end with the DeRace team successfully achieving a number of key milestones throughout it.

🐎 Challenge Races
Our developers have recently started to work on the Challenge Races feature.
With this feature, players will be able to challenge others to a race with specific parameters such as track surface, length, and prizes. In the past week, we have made progress in finalizing the logic for this feature. We have decided on the options that will be available for players to choose from and how the feature infrastructure will look in general.
Moving forward, our team will focus on crafting the visual details and determining the best UI approach to ensure that this feature complements the current ecosystem seamlessly.
⚡ Gameplay improvements
In addition to other development tasks, we are currently working on implementing three short-term solutions that will enhance the DeRace gameplay experience.
The first solution is the creation of training grounds, which will enable new horses to discover their preferred tracks. The second solution is the introduction of an event tab that will allow players to easily access all racing events with additional prizes in one place. Finally, we will be implementing a racing cool-down feature that will motivate top-performing horses to aim for higher entry fee races.
Our developers are currently exploring how to make the most of our existing infrastructure to ensure a smooth and speedy release of these features.
🕺 Jockey Silks
This week, our development team has been rigorously testing all of the platform and in-game functionalities associated with Jockey Silks.
The team has made great progress, with deposits and withdrawals working smoothly, as well as the equipping of Jockeys with the Silks and the Jockey viewer. We have thoroughly tested all of these features to ensure they are functioning optimally.
The next step for us is to test the Jockey Silk feature in races, which we will be doing very shortly. We are excited to share more details on this feature and can’t wait for you to see it in action!
🛠 Platform UI fixes
This week, our development team has been focusing on improving the user interface to ensure seamless access to all the Q1 functionalities.
We have thoroughly reviewed the current UI in the test-net and added easy access for all the upcoming features in the NFT horse page. This will not only improve the user experience but also enhance the overall gameplay.
In addition to this, we have identified and fixed several UX/UI issues in the test-net, ensuring a smoother experience for all our players. We believe these improvements will have a positive impact on the platform, making it more user-friendly and accessible to all.
