Friday Development Update: Part 11
Howdy DeRacers!🤠
It’s Friday again and you know what that means: it’s time for another Friday Development Update. So let’s overview what our development team has been up to this week.
New in-game horse animations
DeRace NFT horses can be described in many words: fast, good-looking, and of course extremely life-like! To make sure that our horses would look (and move) as realistic as possible in the game, our designers have been experimenting with adding some new movements to the horses. Now DeRace NFT horses can really show their full potential!
Off to the races!
DeRace game designers have started working on the hippodrome racetracks!
We’ve been working on the hippodrome environment already and now we have started to build the racetracks. This is a major milestone in the game development roadmap since it’s one step closer to having the races ready! Our game designers are currently working on how the races will look and work: testing different lengths, shapes and surfaces (like turf, dirt, rubber, etc.) of the track , finding the best way to position the “camera view” and a ton of other aspects to make the races fun to watch and exciting to win!
DeRace NFT horse ticket exchange
This week our developers have devoted all their efforts to finalizing the flow of the ticket exchange mechanism for DeRace horses. They have already set up the UI and the logic behind it! In the upcoming week DeRace development team will start the final stage: the testing stage. It will not be long after the ticket exchange mechanism is tested, that all the DeRace NFT ticket holders will be able to see what horse is hiding behind their ticket.
