No more lonely nights in the stables: DeRace NFT horse breeding is live on the platform!
NFT horse breeding is fully operational and has been already tried out by some very lucky DeRacers. Around 100 newly bred Generation 1 foals have joined the DeRace metaverse and they are fully ready to prove themselves on the race track!
So bring your brand new horsies to the hippodrome and don’t be surprised if some are performing even better than their parents 👀
Single stallions in your area 💕
Great news for single horse owners! We have launched the NFT horse rental service along with NFT horse breeding feature.
Now you can easily and safely list your horse for rent and enjoy the rental fees. It’s a win-win for single horse owners since they can either rent NFT horses to other players for breeding and receive $DERC for the service or rent a horse themselves and use it to breed a new champion!
Currently there are over 200 horses from all the tiers available for rent. If you’re looking for a mate for your champion, make sure to check it out! Just use the “Open for breeding” filter to see all the available horses.
🔥 Renaming is live NOW
I’m sure each of us has thought of an amazing name for our champion horse. Now is the perfect time to use it!
Today we have launched our latest feature allowing horse owners to rename their NFT horses! Head straight to your Inventory on www.derace.com, press a magic Renaming button and enter the chosen name. Make sure to be original and quick as all names have to be unique!
Great news for Olympian and Demi-God horse owners as well as DeRace Jockey Club members: you can rename your NFT horses for free!
So far more than 200 NFT horses got new names and you can really tell that the owners put a lot of effort into it! Wen Serr, Adelaida, Ben Winance, Wen Moon and Spitfire are my favorites so far.

Get your hands on the elusive Liquid Love NFT easily and proceed with breeding DeRace NFT horses! 😏
The simplest way to obtain the Liquid Love NFT is through the single sided $DERC staking. Just stake your $DERC tokens on Polygon Network and enjoy the Liquid Love NFT rewards! It’s as easy as pressing a few buttons. Once you collect your Liquid Love NFT it can be used to fuel the breeding process for your NFT horses or can be sold to other players: you get to choose what to do with it.
The single sided staking smart contract is fully ready, we are just ironing the final details. Keep your eyes open, the launch is happening very soon!
Sneak peek into 3rd hippodrome 👀
We have been working on the design for the hippodrome with a turf surface for a while and we are getting close to finishing it!
We want all the hippodromes to look as diverse as possible: have different environments, track sizes/surfaces and even the building designs! It takes a bit of extra time to make each of them unique but we’re steadily moving forward. We are optimistic that the full design of our 3rd hippodrome can be introduced to you all as early as next week!
