What are the DeRace performance boosting assets?
DeRace NFT horse wearables will include such equipment as saddle, saddle pad, stirrups, bridle, horseshoes, protection boots, blinkers, ear bonnets and others. Each one of them will have a different effect on the hidden NFT horse parameters which are speed, stamina and reaction time.
Choose your wearables wisely: the parameters of each performance boosting asset will be visible, so that the players can pick the most suitable items to equip their NFT horses with. DeRace NFT horse wearables will be fully gamified!
NFT horse wearables (aka performance boosting assets) are in-game utility NFTs that build the immersive game mechanics. The main way for players to acquire NFT horse wearables are as the in-game activity rewards. More specifically, by being active on the platform and accomplishing missions and unlocking achievements. (More news about missions and achievements shortly!)
Active and competitive DeRace players will be awarded with various chests and keys. The chests will have NFT horse wearables inside them and players will be able to unlock them with keys. Keys will also serve as activity rewards, Spin-The-Wheel, racing event prizes and more.
A specific key will be required to open the chests which house various performance boosting items. The chests will differ in their chance to draw a more rare item (for example, a top tier saddle which can be used on a high level NFT horse).
The players will have full control of the acquired NFT horse wearables and will be able to use them to equip their own horses or sell them to other players.
General mechanics of horse wearables
DeRace NFT horse wearables have both visual and inherent parameters and they differ in:
Asset type: Horse wearables come in different types such as saddles, horseshoes, saddle pads and others. Each asset boosts different hidden parameters depending on the type of asset, but they also might debuff some other parameters.
For example: horseshoes might increase the horse’s speed, while ear bonnet might increase the reaction time.
Asset tier: Each item also has different tiers. On average, higher tier items provide a higher boost and they are also more rare.
Asset condition: Some assets are in better condition compared to others.
Asset looks: performance boosting items also differ in their looks. They have different colors, patterns, shapes, styles and are made of various materials.
An NFT horse’s ability to be equipped with a specific asset will depend on his level (experience). The higher the level, the more items an NFT horse can be equipped with.
For example, to use some saddles your horse level will have to be extremely high. On average, items dedicated to horses who reached top levels will also give higher boosts too!
